Our learning concept for children and young people of Slavic origin

The BELLS-Privatschule offers a special educational programme for its students of Slavic origin, which meets both the requirements of the Canton of Lucerne and the traditional Russian school education. In addition to Russian language lessons, they are also taught Slavic literature and rhetoric according to the Russian curriculum. The IZ Slavistics works closely with the private school BELLS. The courses are also accredited in the cantons of Lucerne and Zug for HSK (mother tongue and culture) "Russian". Finally, the IZ Slavistik organizes Russian festivals and events. The aim is to provide Russian-speaking students with the best possible support for their mother tongue, culture and civilization.

BELLS-Privatschule

In the first four years of primary school, Russian-speaking pupils are taught the language as well as Russian literature and rhetoric. From the fifth to the ninth grade, they are also taught history, which covers important events in Russian history. The programme also aims to introduce children and young people to Russian culture and civilisation. This is done by studying significant works of Russian art (appropriate to their age). The aim is to develop an understanding of the relationship between history, art and other sciences and to promote an appreciation of Russian culture.

Course program - Organizational

  • For the members of the IZ "Slavistik" association we organize "psychological trainings" (course language Russian).
  • For young literature lovers we run the "Me and others" club. Adult literature lovers are invited to visit the "literary salon".
  • We also organize activities for members of the association (in groups) to promote physical and mental health (hiking, fitness, ...).
  • Finally, we also regularly organize "excursion days". On these days we get to know historically significant places as well as influential personalities from a wide variety of fields (politics, history, culture, ...).
  • All members of the "IZ "Slavistik" association also have the opportunity to seek advice on questions of practical integration in Switzerland at any time (rights and obligations, education, work, family, politics, culture, leisure, ...).
  • In principle, all courses are primarily reserved for members of the IG "Slavistik". However, "guests" can also register for a course if the maximum number of participants has not yet been reached (please ask the course leader).
